DAY 01: QUITO - LIMA
Arrival in Lima, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon, we will
have a half-day Citiy tour of modern and colonial Lima.
All meals on your own. Overnight.
DAY 02: LIMA/CUZCO
Breakfast.
Early transfer to the airport to board your plane for the 55 minute flight to Cuzco
(not included), center of the old Inca Empire. Upon your arrival you will be met at the
airport and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the morning free to relax and slowly acclimatize. In the afternoon, a combined tour of the city and nearby ruins will educate you on the history of this
astonishing city, while visiting its Inca and Colonial monuments. Meals on your own.
DAY 03: CUZCO/SACRED VALLEY/CUZCO
Brakfast.
Full day guided excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visiting the picturesque Pisac or Chinchero
Market and continuing down the Urubamba Valley. After lunch (included) we reach Ollantaytambo, a small town surrounded by an Inca complex on a hill overlooking the whole area with huge monolithic carved blocks. A
unique chance to visit a living Inca village. Return to Cuzco in the late afternoon. Overnight at hotel. Dinner on your own.
DAY 04: CUZCO/MACHU PICCHU/CUZCO
Breakfast.
Full day guided visit, including lunch, to the Historic
Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. A three-hour train ride will take us to this mysterious Inca site. A short bus ride will commence a three-hour tour of the citadel. The
free afternoon and overnight at Aguas Calientes. Dinner on your own.
DAY 05: AGUAS CALIENTES / CUZCO
Breakfast.
Free day at Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy the hot springs. (do not
include entrance fee)
In the afternoon back ride by train, transfer to your hotel. Overnight Cuzco.
DAY 06: CUZCO/LIMA/OUT
Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima, arrive in Lima, and
fly back to your final destination.
